National CORE and Hope through Housing leaders took time during the Aug. 4 Townhall to review the performance and conditions of the two nonprofits, sharing with staff how their dedication and service are contributing to company success.
Staff received a glowing picture of the organizations’ present and future.
Financial reports show revenue is continuing to grow for both organizations, driven by the development and construction of new communities, development of exciting additional lines of business and expanded delivery of services for residents. In addition to the more than a dozen developments in construction, eight more communities are forecasted to launch in 2024.
Our Property Management Department helps lead the charge relating to the development of new lines of business.
Robert Noeth shared how Property Management’s Capital Improvement (CapEx) team has excelled in creating new revenue streams from the Obliterator, CapEx specialists and CapEx supervisor programs.
Similarly, Property Management team’s Relocation program continues to grow its business, rebounding from a slight downturn during the COVID pandemic period, continuing its successful marketing to third parties.
Hope through Housing announced its plans to increase service to youths by a minimum of 10 percent, build new programs in Florida and at new properties opening soon in the Inland Empire, Orange County and San Diego County.
Amplify Communities, another business offshoot of the Development and Acquisitions Department, announced that it is also generating additional income for National CORE with services contracted for housing elements and other consulting work.
Our Construction Department continues its amazing trend of growth with approximately 17 projects under construction in 2023 and 17 planned to be under construction during 2024 as well.
Human Resources announced its stretch goal of filling 75% of all positions in 45 days – a challenge given demand for labor is historically high and the difficulty in finding qualified applicants, especially as National CORE continues to grow, quickly approaching 600 employees.
The company also lauded the launch of our CORE Academy partnership with Chaffey College to provide a free certificate program for property management. The first semester of classes is experiencing robust enrollment.
Robert Diaz reminded the team that the most important part of our amazing growth and great performance is that it allows us to achieve our mission at ever higher levels and to increase our ability to provide services, opportunities and hope to our residents.
