CORE Week concluded with our quarterly Town Hall, a dynamic gathering where more than 700 team members came together to reflect on our progress, learn from one another and celebrate the people whose dedication fuels our mission and impact in communities every day.
A key highlight came from Patrick Meredith, vice president of construction, who shared updates on properties in development. Each project opportunity, demonstrating how National CORE’s transformative process and unparalleled expertise continue to shape thriving communities.
Of course, no CORE Week would be complete without celebrating the incredible individuals who go above and beyond every day. As Senior Vice President of Operations and Human Services Dorrie Bryan shared, her favorite part of CORE Week is the chance for employees to recognize each other through the nomination process. At the town hall, three outstanding team members were honored for the third quarter:
- Best in Class: Monique Felix
- Spirit & Enthusiasm: Josephine Andrade-Butts
- I Am Hope: Rosa Aparicio
Congratulations to our award winners! Thank you for embodying the values that make National CORE so special!
Closing out the event, Jeff Burum reminded us of the courage it takes to create meaningful impact. He reflected on the recent free soccer camp, where employees from multiple departments came together to teach and inspire more than 2,500 youths across several cities. This event was made possible by teamwork, volunteers and a shared passion for service. It was a shining example of how the courage of a few can create memories for many.
Jeff left us with a powerful message: We never know who we might impact through our acts of kindness. As our organization grows, so does our ability to uplift more families and communities.
