On April 4, leaders from Hope through Housing and National CORE will trek to our newest property in Texas – The Residences of Diamond Hill – for an extraordinary weekend of events that includes the unveiling of the first-ever Eric Dickerson Learning Center.

This groundbreaking new feature expands Hope through Housing’s Building Bright Futures initiative into uncharted territory, creating the first mentorship/leadership and enrichment program of its type for youths at an affordable housing community.

Inspired by Eric Dickerson’s own journey, the center will feature a mix of STEM and project-based learning activities similar to a children’s museum along with teen recreation and leadership programming. The goal is to create a place that inspires youths and teens to pursue their own pathways to greatness.

The weekend will start with a mixer for our Texas team and the associates who will be supporting the series of fundraising events. A grand opening for the new center is set for 10 a.m. Saturday, a gala-style dinner will be held Sunday and the third annual Eric Dickerson All-Star Invitational golf tournament will be staged on Monday.

It will be an amazing series of events all focused on creating incredible new tools for our residents.
