And the winner is…
Day Creek Senior Villas!
In late 2024, Resident Services Technician Patrick Kelly received a urgent call from a Day Creek Senior Villas resident: her upstairs neighbor absentmindedly washed their porch with a water hose, raining a torrent of gunk-laden water and debris onto her porch.
Patrick jumped into action, spending the next two hours scrubbing away the grime, mopping up the water and fixing the resident’s plants until her porch looked new.
And he did it all with a friendly smile.
With acts like this, members of the Day Creek Senior Villas property management team have established themselves as a kind, helpful crew, earning five-star reviews from their residents.
In recognition of that effort, the Marketing & Communications Department has named them as our Fourth Quarter Rewards and Recognition Program winners. The winning team receives lunch from the Marketing Department.
“I’m proud of everyone on the Day Creek Senior Villas team,” Regional Property Manager Beckly Bolton said. “They all work very hard and deal with many difficult situations with a lot of grace and most importantly, they’re there for our residents and have built up a great deal of trust in the community.”
In addition to Kelly, the team includes Community Manager Shantel Del Rosario, Regional Director Marisela Gerez, Assistant Manager Lynda Primas and Resident Services Technician Supervisor Christopher Castaneda.
“We have an amazing staff, and that’s the foundation of having a five-star rating,” Shantel said. “One of my first objectives when I started at Day Creek Senior Villas was to make sure my team and I greet our residents with a handshake and learn their names to create a friendly neighborhood. I felt like that was an important step – making everyone feel recognized.”
In a recent five-star review, another resident thanked Patrick for his kindness and hard work. Patrick said he enjoys spreading happiness to his residents.
“I stay upbeat and treat everyone with the same kindness,” Patrick said. “I ask each resident about their families and how their day is going, and I do things like carry their groceries to their apartments.”
