National CORE is celebrating multiple honors from the U.S. Green Building Council, including our sixth consecutive ranking as a PowerBuilder – placing us with an elite group of five developers.
As part of annual awards issued with the PowerBuilder rankings, the USGBC has recognized Legacy Square as one of three Affordable Housing Projects of the Year. Legacy Square has been collecting multiple honors for its mix of sustainability, services and community benefits, but this is the new community’s first international recognition.
Following up on those honors, three National CORE properties received LEED for Homes Gold Certifications in August: Nestor Senior Village in San Diego, Mountain View apartments in Lake Forest and 456 West, a San Pedro community co-developed with Linc Housing.
