Christopher Castaneda brings a warmth and familiarity to the arduous work that comes with being a resident service technician – but there is nothing that he would rather do more.
“I come to work every day knowing that what I do makes a difference in our residents’ lives. Fixing a stove, tightening a lightbulb and maintaining the grounds makes a much bigger impact than we think,” Christopher said. “I take pride in what I do, and I love it.”
Christopher’s dedication shines through his work – earning him a Best-in-Class Award in the fourth quarter of 2023!
Christopher’s home property is Rancho Verde, where he conducts RST training in addition to fulfilling his daily responsibilities such as groundskeeping and work orders. On occasion, Christopher can be seen at other local communities assisting property management teams.
He said the best part of his job is simple things for residents to make their day-to-day lives easier.
He works closely with Rancho Verde’s community managers, Raquel Hernandez and assistant manager Amber Tully, to ensure the community is clean, beautiful and operates seamlessly.
“As an RST and a trainer, Chris has his hands full but will always find the time to help others,” Amber said. “Chris has really grown in his position since he started with National CORE. The residents love him, and we wouldn’t be able to maintain this community without him.”
Christopher upholds National CORE’s high standards of quality and preserves the integrity of Rancho Verde while cultivating a positive environment for each of our residents.
Congratulations, Christopher!
