September is National Suicide Prevention Month.

More than 48,000 people die by suicide each year in the United States; it is the 11th leading cause of death overall, and it is complicated and tragic.

We have all been touched by this tragedy, whether it be a family member, friend, or just recently, as our Rancho Cucamonga community suffered the loss of two high school seniors.

Everyone can play a role in helping to prevent suicide.
