It’s been an epic end of summer for National CORE’s sustainability program, with five developments earning LEED for Homes Gold certifications in August alone.
From Aug. 8 to Aug. 27, the recognitions flowed steadily – Nestor Senior Village, Mountain View, Vista de La Sierra, 456 West and Santa Angelina.
The honors brought National CORE’s list of LEED certified properties to 24, including 17 at Gold status.
“These certifications reflect National CORE’s ongoing commitment to sustainability,” said Tim Kohut, National CORE’s director of sustainability. “Each of our new communities is designed to run efficiently, reducing our impact on limited natural resources and ensuring a healthier environment for our residents.”
Congratulations to the folks on our sustainability team and across the Construction Department for designing and building such incredible homes!
