In July, National CORE completed acquisition of The Residences at Diamond Hill, a beautiful 204-home affordable housing development in Ft. Worth, Texas. The development is our sixth in Texas, bringing the number of apartments in that state to 971, or nearly 10% of our overall portfolio.
Diamond Hill offers an array of spacious apartments with flexible, open-concept designs and state-of-the-art kitchens. Community amenities include a technology center, pool, children’s play area, picnic and barbecue areas and a fitness center. Residents also benefit from free after-school and summer programs.
The purchase is part of a renewed drive for expansion in Texas that draws on deep relationships and experience gained over the last two decades at Colony of Humble, Countryside Village, La Posada del Ray, Lexington Square and Sunflower Terrace.
