From accounting to property management, more than 100 National CORE employees and their families filled the stands of LoanMart Field, cheering on the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes against the Visalia Rawheads. Our annual Night at the Quakes is a cherished occasion to celebrate our employees and recognize their hard work with an evening full of family fun, great conversation and some good ol’ baseball.
“It’s great to be recognized because there are so many of us,” said maintenance technician Terry Kick. “Being part of a big family – a big group – makes it a lot more fun.”
The event kicked off with a picnic featuring classic ballpark foods like hot dogs slathered in ketchup and deliciously greasy burgers while employees eagerly awaited their chance to win raffle prizes. After HR’s arsenal of prizes ran dry, everyone made their way to box 15 to watch as Chase Kohli, son of Becky Bolton (newly promoted to Regional Property Manager), threw the first pitch.
And so the game began!
For senior financial analyst Eric Arriaga, it was his first Night at the Quakes game since joining National CORE three months ago. He appreciated the opportunity to spend quality family time and see the National CORE team. His son’s favorite part? Watching the Quakes play ball. “It’s cool to see just how big the company is and how many people there are,” Eric said.
Stacy Alms from Sunset Heights noted that as a leasing consultant, she rarely sees people from other properties or the corporate office. “A baseball game is the perfect place to cultivate community and just have fun,” she said. “To get out and see everybody that I only see at training – it’s just a nice little get-together. Baseball is already an American family pastime, so I think this is perfect.”
Thank you for your hard work, everyone!
