Hope through Housing Foundation provided more than 850 backpacks stuffed with much-needed school supplies to children in underserved communities during its annual school readiness drive this August – thanks in large part to National CORE employees.
The effort was part of the foundation’s annual Back to School Supply Drive.
The nonprofit collected almost $1,300 in monetary donations, not counting the individual outreach led by regional and service coordinators.
Our biggest contributors were partners who provided Hope through Housing with pencils, pens, folders and notebooks to keep our donated backpacks stocked with supplies. Costco alone provided 350 backpacks!
