Hope through Housing Foundation is announcing a summer campaign to raise much-needed funds for its Building Bright Futures afternoon enrichment programs, offered to hundreds of children across Southern California and in Texas.

Afternoon enrichment programs combat summer learning loss, provide children with key life skills, boost academic performance and offer new opportunities and experiences, according to RAND Corporation studies.

Unfortunately, access to these programs is declining across the country. Nearly 25 million children have no access to after school programs – a trend that is accelerated for low-income families, according to the 2021 America After 3PM study.
